The Owner/Director of PILATES STATEN ISLAND, Celeste Zopich, is a former dancer classically trained in ballet and Martha Graham technique. She studied and performed with The Clive Thompson Dance Company and also studied under the direction of Ms. Ellen Tharp of the Staten Island Ballet. It was her dance background that brought her to Pilates where she trained comprehensively in the STOTT™ Pilates Method and received her Certificate of Training for all levels of Pilates work. Celeste enhanced her training through work either private and in small workshop settings with Mary Bowen, Lolita San Miguel, Kathy Grant, and Ron Fletcher. Celeste holds the highest National Credential as a PMA - Gold Certified Teacher.

Wu Jyh Cherng, Sacerdote Taoísta, fundador e regente da organização denominada Sociedade Taoísta do Brasil, era o pontífice máximo do Taoísmo no Brasil e na América Latina. Recebeu de seus superiores, em Taiwan, o título de Kao Kon Fa Shi (Sacerdote de Alto Ofício, Mestre da Lei). Mestre Cherng nasceu em Taiwan, em 1958, e em 1973 mudou-se com seus pais para o Brasil, onde foi viver no Rio de Janeiro. Sandy Godina is a former attorney who received her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997. She was introduced to Pilates while practicing law and enjoyed it so much that she changed careers. Sandy received her certification from Romana’s Pilates, where she trained with Joseph Pilates’ world-renowned protégé, Romana Kryzanowska, and master instructor Sari Mejia Santos.
