As 514 poltronas de espuma, diferente das anteriores de mola, têm assentos especiais não só para deficientes mas também para obesos. A mesa de luz e as roldanas da cortina, que estavam lá desde a inauguração do Ginástico em 1938, foram recuperadas e se tornaram instalação de arte na entrada do teatro". Situado a doze metros abaixo da superfície terrestre. Foi inaugurado no dia 3 de setembro de 2001, após dez anos de obras e escavações no quarto e quinto subsolos de um edifício, no bairro do Sumaré. Seu nome vem da sua localização subterrânea e é, também, uma homenagem ao espetáculo Viagem ao Centro da Terra realizado, em 1992, pela Kompanhia Teatro Multimidia de São Paulo.

Criado em 1955, o Teatro Experimental de Ópera de Juiz de Fora fez do Central cenário de seus concertos líricos até início dos anos 70. Durante a Ditadura, o TUCA foi palco de importantes manifestações políticas, desempenhando um papel significativo no contexto histórico brasileiro. Servindo aos interesses culturais, educacionais, artísticos, políticos e sociais dos universitários e da população paulistana, o TUCA contribuiu ativamente no processo de redemocratização.
Após o tombamento do TUCA como Patrimônio Histórico de São Paulo em 1998, iniciou-se nova campanha para reconstrução e restauro. Em 2002, com aprovação pelo MINC e patrocínio do Banco Bradesco, o TUCA foi finalmente reconstruído. A reinauguração aconteceu em 22 de agosto de 2003.

A legitimate Broadway theatre located at 302 West 45th Street in midtown-Manhattan. Designed by architect G. Albert Lansburgh for vaudeville promoter Martin Beck, the theatre opened as the Martin Beck Theatre with a production of Madame Pompadour on November 11, 1924. It was the only theater in New York that was owned outright without a mortgage. It was designed to be the most opulent theater of its time, and has dressing rooms for 200 actors. Situado no interior do Bourbon Shopping São Paulo, o Teatro Bradesco foi desenhado pelo escritório Monserrat Arquitetos Associados. Para executar o projeto foi reunida uma equipe de arquitetos e engenheiros projetistas com experiência em diversas obras desta natureza ao redor do mundo, que agregaram ao mais novo teatro de São Paulo conceitos inovadores de acústica e equipamentos cenográficos.

Located at 311 West 34th Street, the historic Manhattan Center building still stands over 100 years after it was first built as the Manhattan Opera House by Oscar Hammerstein I in 1906. Hammerstein built the opera house with the bold intention to take on the established Metropolitan Opera by featuring cheaper seats for the ordinary New Yorker. The Manhattan Opera house quickly became an alternative venue for many great operas and celebrated singers to make their debut.

O Teatro dos Grandes Atores, foi inaugurado em 1995, e é formado por duas salas, a Azul e a Vermelha, cada uma com 396 lugares. A sala Azul teve como primeiro espetáculo Apareceu a Margarida, estrelado por Marília Pêra. A sala vermelha iniciou sua programação com A Era do Rádio, dirigida e encenada por Sérgio Britto.
Em 1998, foi inaugurado o Teatro das Artes, situado no Shopping da Gávea. Sua estréia ocorreu com o texto "Arte", de Yasmina Reza, com elenco formado por Pedro Paulo Rangel, Paulo Goulart e Paulo Gorgulho. Sua estrutura comporta 457 lugares.

Assinado por dois dos maiores especialistas em arquitetura cênica do país, o paulista Serroni e o carioca José Dias, o projeto arquitetônico do Centro Cultural Solar de Botafogo preservou o aspecto histórico da construção, através de um trabalho de restauração da fachada original, e promoveu uma total reestruturação do seu espaço interno, com direito à anexação da área externa traseira, onde foi erguido o prédio teatral, edificação construída em três níveis, disponde de 180 lugares divididos entre platéia, platéia superior e camarote, com acesso por modenos elevadores, perfeita refrigeração seguindo todas as normas de segurança.
Com 800 m2 de área construída, além do teatro, o Solar de Botafogo abriga um segundo espaço cênico, sala para ensaios e leituras, galeria de arte, café concerto com cyber lounge – EFFE Café, auditório para projeção de vídeos e filmes de arte.

O Centro Cultural Suassuna está localizado na Barra da Tijuca. The Longacre Theatre is a Broadway theatre located at 220 West 48th Street in midtown Manhattan.
Designed by architect Henry B. Herts, it was named for Longacre Square, the original name for Times Square. The French neo-classical building was constructed by impresario Harry Frazee, better remembered as the owner of the Boston Red Sox who, needing money for his theatrical ventures, sold Babe Ruth's contract to the New York Yankees. A curse allegedly lingers on the theater as a result, and superstitious producers avoid it for fear they'll be backing a flop, as noted by William Golden in his seminal book The Season. Despite the rumor, a large number of performers who have appeared on stage here have taken home a Tony Award for their efforts.
The Longacre's first show was a production of the William Hurlbut-Frances Whitehouse comedy Are You a Crook?, which opened on May 1, 1913. With the exception of its use as a television studio in the mid-1940s to early 1950s, the theatre has operated as a legitimate Broadway venue. Source

The Lyceum Theatre is a legitimate Broadway theatre located at 149 West 45th Street in midtown-Manhattan.
It has the distinction of being the oldest surviving Broadway venue (along with the New Amsterdam Theatre), the oldest continuously operating legitimate theatre in New York City, and the first Broadway theatre ever to be granted landmark status. It is one of the few theatres in New York to operate under its original name.
The theatre maintains most of its original Beaux-Arts design, including its elaborate marble staircases and undulating marquee. Although it has three levels, it is one of the smallest Broadway theatres in terms of capacity, seating only 950. An apartment located above the orchestra, originally used by Frohman, is now the headquarters of the Shubert Archives. Source

Opened in 1924 and originally called the 46th Street Theatre, it was renamed in 1990 to honor the legendary composer Richard Rodgers, whose shows defined Broadway for over three decades. The theatre was refurbished in 2006 and houses The Richard Rodgers Gallery featuring historic memorabilia from its namesake's storied career.

Based on The Suit by Can Themba, Mothobi Mutloatse, and Barney Simon Direction, adaptation, and music by Peter Brook, Marie-Hélène Estienne, and Franck Krawczyk The renowned Peter Brook—whose 1987 production of The Mahabharata inaugurated the BAM Majestic Theater (now the BAM Harvey Theater)—returns with a music-filled adaptation of South African writer Can Themba’s piercing tale of simmering resentment and tragedy, The Suit. A wife caught in the act, her lover fleeing the scene, a suit left behind. It’s the perfect recipe for a husband’s punishing, humiliating decree: go on with business as usual, he says to his spouse, but take your lover’s suit everywhere you go as a ghostly reminder of your betrayal. Using an innovative staging that integrates live musicians directly into the action, Brook makes Themba’s volatile work sing. A hummed “Strange Fruit,” African melodies, and Schubert lieder thicken the tense, poisoned air of this apartheid-era summer in which a shared wound was not allowed to heal.
Dating from its first performance in 1861, BAM has grown into a thriving urban arts center that brings international performing arts and film to Brooklyn. The first BAM facility at 176-194 Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights was originally conceived by the Philharmonic Society of Brooklyn as a home for its concerts. It housed a large theater seating 2,200, a smaller concert hall, dressing and chorus rooms, and a vast "baronial" kitchen. BAM presented both amateur and professional music and theater productions. Performers included Ellen Terry, Edwin Booth, Tomas Salvini, and Fritz Kreisler.

Fundado em 1989 em São Paulo por Ivam Cabral e Rodolfo García Vázquez, desde o início Os Satyros buscavam investigações de um teatro essencialmente experimental. Em 1990, a partir da montagem “Sades ou Noites com os Professores Imorais”, da obra homônima do Marquês de Sade, a companhia provocou polêmica e dividiu a crítica especializada. Os Satyros tiveram muita dificuldade em localizar um espaço para a apresentação do espetáculo na cidade de São Paulo. Foi então que a companhia assumiu a administração de um pequeno teatro abandonado no tradicional bairro paulistano da Bela Vista, chamado Teatro Bela Vista. Além de conseguirem apresentar o espetáculo, iniciaram um período de forte intervenção cultural que se prolongaria até a transferência da companhia para a Europa.

The St. James Theatre is located at 246 W. 44th St. Broadway, New York City, New York. It was built by Abraham L. Erlanger, theatrical producer and a founding member of the Theatrical Syndicate, on the site of the original Sardi's restaurant. It opened in 1927 as The Erlanger. Upon Erlanger's death in 1930, control of the venue was taken over by the Astor family, who owned the land on which the theatre stood. The Astors renamed it the St. James Theatre.
The theatre was purchased by the Shuberts in the late 1930s. They were forced to sell it to the William L. McKnight in 1957 following the loss of an antitrust case. McKnight renovated the St. James and reopened it in 1958. In 1970, McKnight then transferred the theatre to his daughter Virginia and her husband James H. Binger, who had formed the Jujamcyn Amusement Corporation. Source

The Cort Theatre is a legitimate Broadway theatre located at 138 West 48th Street in midtown-Manhattan. The Shuberts purchased the theatre in 1927.
Designed by Thomas W. Lamb, its facade was modeled after the Petit Trianon at Versailles, while architecture from the period of Louis XVI inspired the interior. The building was constructed by and named for former vaudevillean John Cort, general manager of the Northwestern Theatrical Association.
It opened on December 20, 1912 with Laurette Taylor starring in the play Peg o' My Heart, which ran for 603 performance, an auspicious start for the new venue. Numerous famous British actors have appeared at the Cort: Basil Rathbone played Dr. Nicholas Agi in The Swan in October 1923, and in April 1927 appeared as Vladimir Dubriski in Love is Like That. In October 1924 Henry Daniell appeared as Aubrey Tanqueray in The Second Mrs Tanqueray, was there again in August 1943 in Murder Without Crime, and in January 1946 appeared as Leontes in The Winter's Tale.

The Ethel Barrymore Theatre is a legitimate Broadway theatre located at 243 West 47th Street in midtown-Manhattan.
Designed by architect Herbert J. Krapp and constructed by the Shuberts, it opened on December 20, 1928 with The Kingdom of God, a play selected by leading lady Ethel Barrymore. Over the next dozen years she returned to star in The Love Duel (1929), Scarlett Sister Mary (1930), The School for Scandal (1931), and An International Incident (1940).
It is the only surviving theatre of the many the Shuberts built for performers who were affiliated with them. It has been used continuously as a legitimate house, unlike many of the older theatres that have been used for a variety of purposes throughout the years. Source
