Folli Follie's design team consists of Swiss, Italian, Greek, Dutch and Chinese designers who create two collections per year, Autumn / Winter and Spring / Summer. Our designers' goal is to maintain a fashion orientation complementing the prevalent fashion trends. During the 1960s and 1970s the firm popularized fashion trends such as the beatnik look, tweed suits, tight pants and tall, thigh-high boots, including the creation of arguably the most famous classic tuxedo suit for women in 1966, Le Smoking suit. He is the first to popularize ready-to-wear in an attempt to democratize fashion. He is also the first designer to use black models in his runway shows. Michael has always designed collections using classic materials that he is inherently drawn to: silver, gold, diamonds, an endless variety of semi-precious stones, as well as more unusual natural materials found in travels around the world. Early in his career, he discovered the ancient technique of granulation, in which metal is heated and formed into tiny spheres which are affixed in various patterns. Incorporating this design element alongside clean crisp lines into much of his work provides a signature that is uniquely his own. Using this wide mix of materials and an extensive vocabulary of design elements allows him to present collections that combine his modern, functional sensibility with an infinite respect for the hues, textures, and compositions abundant in nature.

Today, she searches out singular antique, estate and contemporary pieces to add to Doyle & Doyle’s ever-expanding collection. She also designed the house’s first jewelry collection. Elizabeth’s years of experience in jewelry includes a degree as a graduate gemologist from the prestigious Gemological Institute of America. New York City based jewelery designer Wendy Mink has been creating beautiful pieces for over 18 years, having evolved from small scale design and manufacturing into a substantial operation, combining great quality, workmanship and innovative design. <br> The company was founded on Wendy's background as a painter & her strong interest in South East Asia, both lead to extensive travel which eventually nurtured an immense appreciation of the beauty and craftsmanship behind the jewelry and textiles associated with local women of Nepal and India.
