Eddie Zawacki began his early training at Balanchine’s School of American Ballet. He has created an entire body of choreographic work on his own company the Zawacki Ballet.
Recently completing a year with ballet icon David Howard at 211 West 61st Street, NYC, they together taught and hosted several dance concerts with guests from NYCB, ABT, and Joffrey Ballet. Ed was a guest teacher at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in the same facility.
Opening his own dance loft on 23rd Street in Chelsea, NYC served as a teaching facility and performing space for workshops, and choreographic projects.
Returning from London, Paris, and LA made him one of the most sought after men in the business, and has put him on the map as one of the most gifted teachers, and choreographers of his generation.

“Gotta Dance” Studio opened its doors on September 15, 2001. Owner, Miss Terri as she is known by her students, starting dancing at the age of 5 and always dreamed, that one day, she would open her own studio. She continued taking dance classes and was also a member of a local community theatre group for many years. There she was able to learn and develop not only her love of dance, but also her love for music, singing and acting. The performing arts has always been a big part of Miss Terri's life.
Mr. Ron & Miss Terri decided the time had come for them to fulfill the life long “Dream” and together they started searching for the perfect place. Their hope was to find a small studio where students could come and learn to love dance & music while having fun in a friendly and safe environment. Today, they are very proud of their accomplishments and are extremely grateful to all the wonderful families who have touched their lives. Ms. Lindt-Piccolo has also studied with the great choreographer Kurt Jooss, and has extensively studied various dance forms such as Classical Spanish, Modern Tap, Pas de Deux, and the Rudolf von Laban method of Kinetography.

Desde sua criação em 1995, a Ballerine Studio de Dança vem conquistando seu espaço no cenário cultural de nossa cidade. A partir de 2000, o Studio está sob a direção artística da bailarina e coreógrafa Adriana Gama.

Em 1994, iniciou sua carreira profissional, onde começou a ministrar aulas em diversas academias da cidade, e logo já estava sendo convidado para participar de eventos, festas, feiras e convenções.
Com o passar dos anos, os convites para shows e aulas foram aumentando e então viu a necessidade da criação de uma Cia de Dança, onde desde fevereiro de 2001 vem atuando profissionalmente em diversos eventos.
Há 12 anos Cláudio estabeleceu uma parceria com SESC Ramos (além das aulas do SESC Cinelândia), onde ministra aulas dos mais diversos ritmos da Dança de Salão, com capacidade total para 300 alunos e uma atuação efetiva da Cia de Dança nas mais diversas áreas.

A idéia de inaugurar uma escola, surgiu quando ao final de cada sessão dos espetáculos do Grupo Catsapá, Mabel Tude e Gisela Saldanha, criadoras da instituição, eram procuradas por dezenas de crianças e adolescentes interessadas naquela arte que fundia o sapateado e a dança com o teatro. A Catsapá pretende desenvolver nos alunos o potencial artístico que exige a versatilidade dos espetáculos musicais e contribuir para o desenvolvimento do auto conhecimento, auto estima e socialização do indivíduo através do ensino artístico.

“Criado e coordenado por Armando Cavadas e Karol Bottino, o Grupo Fábrica Dança de Salão nasceu em 2006, no Circo Voador, na Lapa, Rio de Janeiro, fruto de anos de estudo das mais diversas formas de movimento e principalmente da técnica da dança a dois. Em suas aulas tem como proposta um estilo de dança atual, sem se desligar das raízes da Dança de Salão.

Em 1986, já com 800 alunos, tornou-se oficialmente a Escola de Dança e Centro Cultural Jaime Arôxa, de acordo com alguns, um pequeno paraíso no meio da selva de pedra carioca
Pioneiro na arte de ensinar Dança de Salão, Jaime Arôxa formou dezenas de professores e milhares de alunos, além de atuar em todas as áreas da dança (cinema, teatro, coreografia e eventos).
