Dedica-se a Dança do Ventre desde 1999, quando deu inicio a sua carreira profissional como bailarina. Seus mestres iniciais foram Sabah Najm e Henry Netto, ambos de Belo Horizonte. Toda a sua experiência e constante pesquisa em vários estilos de dança, agregada a sua sede pela diversidade e liberdade de expressão a permitiu desenvolver um trabalho "Fusion" (fusão/mistura), o qual vem se especializando a cada dia. As a small studio Dance Centre was able to provide individual attention to each dancer. Currently with 400 students and 4 teaching rooms, we are still dedicated to each student, both as a dancer and a person.
As diverse as the art of dance itself, our faculty is made up of instructors who specialize in teaching specific forms of dance to specific age groups. Our teachers have danced on Broadway, in movies and in music videos. Their one common philosophy is that teaching the love of dance is as important as teaching the technique of dance.

Denise e Vera Casoni Jazz - Ballet é uma escola de dança, que vem realizando um trabalho de qualidade, seriedade e sucesso há 25 anos. Em junho de 1981, Vera Casoni abria sua academia ao lado de suas filhas Denise e Christine, que hoje, são as coordenadoras da escola. Sua sede, uma casa de três andares, está localizada entre os bairros de Ipanema e Copacabana, Zona Sul do Rio deJaneiro.
Vera dirige a escola e cuida da parte administrativa. Denise cuida da direção artística e é professora das turmas mais avançadas e Christine coordena o balé clássico e dá aulas para as turmas infantis. Além delas, uma equipe de professores garante a excelência no ensino dos vários estilos e técnicas oferecidos pela escola, que vão desde as aulas de balé clássico até o jazz dance, street, sapateado e contemporâneo, entre outros.

The history of Santo Rico dates back to 1995. The name of the dance company is derived from the initial members of the group being half from Santo Domingo (Santo) and half from Puerto Rico (Rico), hence the name "Santo Rico." Santo Rico was initially formed by Wilton Beltre, a Dominican native, who expressed his love for dance by displaying his street style of dancing Mambo/Salsa in local nightclubs in New York City. Prior to forming Santo Rico, Wilton received dancing instruction from the well renowned Eddie Torres. This gave him professionalism, grace and ultimately led to the development of a unique style. During his stint with Mr. Torres Wilton excelled and brought his dancing ability to such a high level that he became one of the most outstanding members of The Eddie Torres Dance Company.

Concebido e administrado pela ex-diretora da Fundação Theatro Municipal, a ex bailarina Dalal Achcar dirige há mais de trinta anos a instituição que leva o seu nome, o Ballet Dalal Achcar, uma das principais referências do ballet clássico no Brasil. Tem sido um complemento indispensável na educação de jovens e crianças desde 1971, e é responsável pela formação de excelentes profissionais, muitos com bolsa de estudo no exterior. Agora, além da reconhecida tradição no ballet clássico, o Ballet Dalal Achcar oferece uma variedade de técnicas que abre as portas da escola para novos grupos de alunos com diferentes objetivos

Since 1979, Ballet Academy East has been a vibrant center for dance on Manhattan's Upper East Side. In 1978, Julia Dubno, the founder and director of Ballet Academy East was selected by Christine Fokine to run the Fokine Ballet School. That experience led to the opening of Ballet Academy East in a brownstone on East 79th Street with one small studio in 1979.
Today the school has five spacious studios and a world-renowned faculty and continues to flourish. Miss Dubno continues to oversee the day-to-day operations and is in close contact with the faculty in order to be kept abreast of all areas of the school.

Bob Cunha foi semifinalista do IV Campeonato Mundial de Tango em Buenos Aires em 2006. Desenvolveu sua própria didática de ensino que consiste em alcançar desenvoltura em curto espaço de tempo. Já viajou para diversos países da Europa e Ásia divulgando a cultura brasileira e o tango argentino. Áurya Pires, iniciou seus estudos em 1994, tendo Bob Cunha como seu professor de danças de salão e tango. Em paralelo faz aulas de jazz, ballet e pilates para manutenção e preparo fícico. Também ministra aulas de bolero, samba de gafieira, forró e lambada. No site da dupla, endereços diversos locais de aulas nas zonas oeste, norte e sul do Rio de Janeiro.

O Reboco de Bamba da Cia. Marinho Braz (Escola de Dança), está localizada num casarão, construído em 1912, no bairro de Laranjeiras, e, rapidamente tornou-se o novo xodó da cidade. O “design” do Reboco, como é carinhosamente chamado pelos freqüentadores e amigos, ficou por conta do próprio Marinho Braz, que além de professor de dança, também, é formado em decoração. A grande atração da casa são as aulas de forró, ministrado pelo Mestre Marinho, mas, a casa tem especialistas em dança de salão, samba de gafieira, dança do ventre, zouk e outros ritmos. Projetos avançados para aulas de capoeira com início em março/2009.
