All the teachers are qualified professionals and committed to their students and the art of dance. Each teacher has performed professionally and Studio E prides themselves on having a staff that's been with them for a long time too. That says alot about the wonderful atmosphere of StudioE.

The winter months bring a special energy here—while the city bustles outside, the warm, mirrored spaces become a refuge for learning American Smooth and Rhythm, International Standard and Latin, Argentine Tango, Club Salsa, Swing, and Hustle. Wedding choreography specialists work with couples preparing for their big day, while group classes and private instruction accommodate whatever your experience level might be. The instructors create an approachable atmosphere that makes picking up a new dance feel less intimidating and more like joining friends who genuinely enjoy what they do.

The directors, Nana and Fred Albee, have operated a successful dance school for over 36 years. As professional dancers, Nana performed with the American Ballet Theatre, then on Broadway in the production of "The Music Man", where she met Fred. Afterwards, they set out as a dance team and performed as soloists at Radio City Music Hall, appeared in Las Vegas and on national TV shows. Fred has assisted choreographer Danny Daniels ("Pennies from Heaven", "Tap Dance Kid") many times and taught the children's program for the "Tap Dance Kid", where one of his students was Savion Glover. Stars they have taught include: Gilda Radner, Olivia Newton John and Marisa Tomei. Marisa was a student of theirs for many years.

Battery Dance Company is dedicated to the pursuit of artistic excellence and the availability of the Arts to everyone. An integral part of the fabric of New York City for 30 years, Battery supports the creative process; educates children in the New York City schools; enriches the general public through local programs and performances, national and international tours, and international arts exchange programs.<br> Based in Lower Manhattan, Battery Dance Company has produced nearly 100 original dance works choreographed by its founder and artistic director Jonathan Hollander, in collaboration with a diverse array of composers and designers, and its cast of outstanding dancers.

A non-profit organization dedicated to extending the dream, dance legacy, and indomitable spirit of Isadora Duncan. The Foundation is based in New York City and supports the work of its resident performing troupe, Lori Belilove & The Isadora Duncan Dance Company. The Company offers hundreds of performances annually of Isadora's original choreography as passed down through generations of Duncan dancers, in addition to new works, educational workshops and creative programs that nurture the soul and lift the spirit.

With the beginning of a new millennium, social dancing is again a significant part of popular culture for all generations. Today the Arthur Murray Franchised Dance Studios continue a tradition of more than 88 years in teaching the world to dance. The history of the Arthur Murray Franchised Dance studios began in 1912 with a man named Arthur Murray, an American symbol of entrepreneurial success and social dancing. Murray was among the first to use advertising techniques considered cutting edge at the time. His concept of selling dance lessons by mail, one step at a time, took the use of direct mail to a new level.

Side Street Kids, Inc is a not for profit organization founded in 1996 and based in the Bronx. The organization provides in-school children, K-12, with positive alternatives during non school hours in the greater NY metropolitan area. Empowering youth with the necessary skills to understand and appreciate the importance of education, positive family interaction and cultural awareness through dance.

The foundation of any dance company is its energy and creative artistry. Here at IBC and The Lindt Ballet Theater, companies can be proud of the artistic directorship of Rosemarie Lindt-Piccolo who not only has brought with her experience in working with such legendary performers as Maurice Bejart, Roland Petit and Mathilde Kschessinskaya, but her training with the world famous Madame Nora Kiss forms a link to history's greatest dancers such as Pavlova and Carlotta Brianza. Ms. Lindt-Piccolo has also studied with the great choreographer Kurt Jooss, and has extensively studied various dance forms such as Classical Spanish, Modern Tap, Pas de Deux, and the Rudolf von Laban method of Kinetography.

As a small studio Dance Centre was able to provide individual attention to each dancer. Currently with 400 students and 4 teaching rooms, we are still dedicated to each student, both as a dancer and a person. <br> As diverse as the art of dance itself, our faculty is made up of instructors who specialize in teaching specific forms of dance to specific age groups. Champion Irish dancer and former lead of Riverdance, Kathleen Ryan, has expanded Ryan Irish Dance Academy to five locations across Nassau County. <br> Miss Kathleen has been dancing for more than 25 years, launching her international career with Riverdance on Broadway in 2000 and touring widely across North America with the iconic Celtic company until April 2005.

The Frank Ohman School of Ballet was founded in 1979 by Frank Ohman, former soloist at New York City Ballet (NYCB) and is one of the few remaining direct links to the teaching of George Balanchine. Currently located in Commack, the school serves as a training ground for promising young dancers and offers aspiring students the opportunity to learn classical ballet in the tradition of George Balanchine. The Frank Ohman School of Ballet will guide your child from first steps to advanced technique, while instilling joy for this timeless art form. The school is a non-competition, non-recital school focusing on proper classical technique.

Founded by award winning Irish dancer Nicole Dimone T.C.R.G. At the young age of 6, Nicole was introduced to the world of Irish Dance by her grandmother, who instilled in her the love and appreciation for all things Irish. Nicole began her journey at the Inishfree School of Irish Dance, under the instruction of Neil and Sean Reagan. Nicole had the opportunity to attend several workshops given by Anthony Costello, a noted teacher and adjudicator from Limerick, Ireland. She then continued her dancing career at the Mulvihill Lynch School of Irish Dance.
