Rockefeller Center is a complex of 19 commercial buildings covering 22 acres in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The development was was conceived on the verge of the Great Depression, and Rockefeller financed the center personally, making it the largest private building project in modern history at the time.
The complex was designed by a team of architects and artists, who created a collection of buildings with a strong Art Deco aesthetic. The buildings are adorned with sculptures, mosaics, and murals that reflect the cultural and social influences of the time. The centerpiece of the complex is the 70-story Rockefeller Plaza, which was the world's tallest building when it was completed in 1933. Today, Rockefeller Center is one of the world's most famous tourist destinations and a vibrant commercial hub. It is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues, as well as the famous ice rink and Christmas tree that are on display during the holiday season. The complex also includes the NBC Studios, where many popular television shows are filmed, and the Top of the Rock Observation Deck, which offers panoramic views of the city. Holladay Tours began with a goal. Tom and Sharon Holladay wanted to share with others the travel experiences they had enjoyed in their personal travels. The Holladays recognized the merits of group travel. new adventures and new friends all at an affordable price! In 1990 they began to schedule group tours on a part time basis. It took some time to get the word out and the name circulated but they hung in there and didn’t give up. Each year business increased and in 1992 Holladay Tours was incorporated. A tour brochure was published twice yearly and continues to be mailed to a growing list of tour guests. In 1994 Tom made the decision to go into the group tour business on a full time basis. Sharon joined him in the business in 1996 as a tour planner and tour escort. Holladay Tours continues into its second decade with the original goal in mind to provide the customer with the ultimate travel experience.

"High Country Tours snowmobile trips accommodate individuals of all ages and experience levels. Our machines are for single or double riders and have a 400 lb. weight limit. They have hand and feet warmers as well as back rests and compartments to carry items. Our fleet of machines consists mainly of Polaris 550cc snowmobiles. We also have higher performance sleds available. We take pride in offering tours with small groups, providing all of our guests with a more personal tour. All tours get some free time in the meadows where you can play on the machines. We offer miles and miles of back country powder riding and a groomed trail system. Hang gliding is a sport that is somewhat dependent on weather conditions since gliders must launch and land facing into the wind.
