Founded in 1995, the Idaho Black History Museum is a 501 (c)3 organization established to educate individuals about the history and culture of African Americans, with special emphasis on African Americans in Idaho. Housed in the historic St. Paul Baptist Church building and located in Boise's Julia Davis Park, the museum presents exhibits and provides educational and community outreach programs including lectures, films, workshops, literacy programs, and musical performances.

Known for being the first house museum on Staten Island, this New York City museum is rich in history on many levels. Its name lies in honor for the peace conference of 1776, a commemoration. Constructed circa 1680 by Captain Christopher Billopp, this 2 story rubble-stone masonry masterpiece has been restored over the years, as needed for structural integrity. Its steep gable roof gives the essence of the period. By 1934, much work had been completed including the Colonial Rose Garden and planting 13 trees to represent the original colonies. Bishop Museum was founded in 1889 by Charles Reed Bishop in honor of his late wife, Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the last descendant of the royal Kamehameha family. The Museum was established to house the extensive collection of Hawaiian artifacts and royal family heirlooms of the Princess, and has expanded to include millions of artifacts, documents and photographs about Hawai‘i and other Pacific island cultures.

Visando recuperar a arquitetura original, ampliar espaços destinados ao público, aprimorar os serviços oferecidos aos visitantes, democratizar o acesso dos mais diversos segmentos da sociedade e viabilizar uma circulação e um percurso adequados ao discurso museográfico, o conjunto arquitetônico que abriga o Museu passou, entre 2003 e 2006, por importantes obras de restauração e modernização.

The Japan Society is a hotbed of activity and display with the central message of establishing a comprehensive link between Japan and the United States. Spring 2012 brings a look at the political application of the museum as they delve into Japan’s role with the United Nations, and the healing and rebuilding process facing Japan after their multiple catastrophes over the last several years. The Japan Society is an ever-growing hub of information and offers some of the most professional and informational materials in all of Japanese and New York culture.

On Oct. 29, 1988, the South Carolina State Museum opened its doors, bringing to the citizens of the Palmetto State the newest, and one of the finest, state museums in America. O Instituto Ciência Hoje (ICH) é uma organização social de interesse público sem fins lucrativos vinculada à Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência (SBPC).
O site Ciência Hoje On-line é uma iniciativa pioneira de divulgação científica na internet brasileira. Além de disponibilizar parte do conteúdo das publicações do ICH, o site publica notícias exclusivas atualizadas diariamente que oferecem ao leitor uma cobertura dinâmica da atualidade científica no Brasil e no mundo.
Em 2007, foi lançado, em parceria com o Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas, o livro Física Hoje - Uma aventura pela natureza: dos átomos ao universo, que reúne 11 artigos escritos por renomados pesquisadores brasileiros e originalmente publicados na revista Ciência Hoje ao longo de 2005, em comemoração ao Ano Mundial da Física.
O ICH atua também na divulgação científica em meios audiovisuais: o Instituto promoveu a realização do programa de televisão Tome Ciência, uma série semanal que abordou de forma acessível temas de ciência e tecnologia.. Em outubro de 2004, o ICH se uniu à Rede Globo na campanha Ciência Vale a Pena.

Criado em 1993, com recursos do programa de investimentos estratégicos do governo do estado de Santa Catarina, com a permanente participação do IPHAN, o Museu Nacional do Mar nasceu com a revitalização dos grandes armazéns da empresa Hoepcke, abandonados há mais de vinte anos. O local, que abriga grande diversidade de embarcações brasileiras foi revitalizado entre 2003 e 2004.

O Arquivo Histórico Judaico de Pernambuco instalou-se, em dezembro de 2001, no Museu Sinagoga Kahal Zur Israel. Responsável pelas ações museológicas do espaço, constituiu-se como uma associação civil de direito privado, sem fins lucrativos, filiado à Federação Israelita de Pernambuco.
É parceiro também das unidades do Museu Judaico do Rio de Janeiro , Arquivo Histórico Judaico Brasileiro em São Paulo, Instituto Histórico Israelita Mineiro em Belo Horizonte-MG , Instituto Marc Chagal em Porto Alegre –RS, entre outros.

Uma ideia antiga de alguém que desde criança foi apaixonado por carros se tornou realidade em 21 de setembro de 1999, quando foi inaugurado o Museu de Automóvel de São Paulo. Romeu Siciliano começou a juntar carros em sua casa e quando se deu conta, tinha o suficiente para fundar o museu.
Os visitantes além de apreciarem as raridades que vão de carros antigos até motocicletas, lambretas, vespas, triciclos, caminhões, podem conhecer a história e a evolução do automóvel. O Museu possui exposições rotativas, em que frequentemente são trocados os automóveis.

O Museu de Arte Moderna da Bahia é uma instituição estadual e está ligado à Secult - Secretaria de Cultura da Bahia e ao Ipac – Instituto do Patrimônio Artístico e Cultural do Estado, autarquia vinculada à Secult e gestora dos museus estaduais baianos, cuja finalidade é preservar os bens culturais do Estado e colaborar na formulação de políticas educacionais de cunho patrimonial, através da pesquisa, documentação, restauração e difusão da produção técnica e científica necessária a essa preservação.

Fundado no dia 08 de agosto de 1993, por seu diretor Lauthenay Perdigão, o museu funciona de segunda a sexta-feira, no horário de 9 às 11h30 e 15 às 17h30. Aos sábado, de 09 às 11:30h. O museu foi batizado com o nome de Edvaldo Alves Santa Rosa (Dida), um alagoano que começou jogando no CSA, se transferiu para o Flamengo onde passou doze anos. Dida foi tri-campeão carioca em 1953/54/55. Na decisão do tri-campeonato, no jogo Flamengo 4 x América 1, Dida fez os quatro gols do Flamengo. Deste clássico o museu guarda a camisa usada por Dida, que se encontra no junto com as faixas do tri-campeonato. Dida também jogou na seleção brasileira de 1958, indo para a copa da Suécia como titular. The DOCKYARD MUSEUM in the Naval Officer's House interprets the story of English Harbour and of the people that toiled in this famous Georgian Royal Naval Yard. It also explains the 20th century return of sailing ships and the aims and aspirations of Nelson's Dockyard National Park. There is also a small "Nelson's Room" with a life sized portrait of Nelson researched through archaeological means.
