Japanese Karate JuJitsu Systems has produced champions in life as well as in the martial arts. <br> Headed by Richard Reinheimer (Professor/8th Dan)and Sari Reinheimer (Rev./6Dan)plus staff of expert instructors and managers. Japanese Karate JuJitsu Systems offers a number of programs for physical fitness and instruction in internal and external Martial Science.

Max Fitness' goal is to keep members in the best shape of their lives. Many other arts are then blended in based upon their various strengths. For example, Tae Kwon Do is known for its excellent kicking skills and is used as the basis for our kicks."

The Society for Martial Arts Instruction is a non-profit organization located at 4 West 18th Street, NYC, NY 10011. Shihan Alfred trained for years with many of the World Kanreikai karate instructors and students and has maintained a warm and mutually respectful relationship with them. We have been invited to their in-house tournament which features small divisions, reasonable registration fees and many awards for the junior participants. Adults will be welcome this year to do kata and fight semi-knockdown.

The origins of Goju Ryu Karate are shrouded in the mists of time. Many of the techniques found in this powerful style are common to the fighting systems of South China. Emphasis is placed on breath control and conditioning. What is now called GoJu Ryu or the hard/soft system was introduced into Okinawa by Kanryo Higaonna early in this century. His primary student, Chojun Miyagi, developed the style further incorporating three new forms (kata). At that time Goju Ryu did not have an official name. After some thought the name hard/soft was taken from the Bible of Karate called BUBISHI

Vladimir Borodin was born in Russia city of Odessa. He started his martial arts carrier at age 7, at age 15 became Junior National Champion in boxing. At age 18 became Soviet Army Champion in karate. In 1980 became 11th USSR National Champion in karate. From 1984 to 1991 trained in kickboxing and Muaythai. Vladimir Borodin trained in Amsterdam, Netherlands, London, England and Bangkok, Changmai, Uttradit, Thailand under supervision of Great Muaythai Masters like Master Pimu, Tom Harinck, Tony Moore. Vladimir is one of the New York's latest instructors for Muaythai fighters. After opening his Gym in Brooklyn, New York he raised many National, International and World Champions in kickboxing and Muaythai divisions.
