Since 1989 when Dialogica opened its first gallery in SoHo, New York, this modern and original furniture collection has earned the respect of designers and architects as well as received a enthusiastic reception from the press and public for its design excellence and innovation. In the same year, the company opened its own furniture manufacturing atelier. Dialogica's design and artistic direction is by Monique and Sergio Savarese. Metropolitan Home declared them the "leaders of a new design generation...showing the world how romantic modern furniture can be". The inspirations for their designs come from dreams, historical reference, travels and diverse cultural backgrounds to provide furniture that avoids trends. Patio.com’s grass-root origins predate the dot-com era. The company (now owned by three brothers raised in Westport, CT) was founded by David Ross 25 years ago. As a high school student, David started a pool service company with $50. Business grew quickly, and his brother, Philip, joined him as they became the first Connecticut pool service company to open a retail location. Shortly thereafter, a second location was opened in Greenwich, CT on a site of over an acre ... providing an opportunity to expand the scope of their retail operations to include outdoor furniture.

Karl's may be geographically located in Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love, but you'll experience more than just brotherly love in this store. You'll receive an entire family's full-service and tender loving care!
The history of Karl's is spanning three generations of ownership. In 1920, Simon and Florence Richman opened the doors of Karl's on the premise that the customer deserves unique merchandise and impeccable service. Forty years later, they were succeeded by their son, Alan Richman, who also held this philosophy close to his heart. Alan followed this philosophy so closely that he became known as "Uncle Alan", a trust-worthy individual who tickled a customer's fancy through a series of endearing advertisements. The Richman family takes pride in serving your family. From generations past and new generations yet to come, Karl's can't help but uphold the tradition of "Caring Family Service." |
