Sandy Godina is a former attorney who received her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997.  She was introduced to Pilates while practicing law and enjoyed it so much that she changed careers.  Sandy received her certification from Romana’s Pilates, where she trained with Joseph Pilates’ world-renowned protégé, Romana Kryzanowska, and master instructor Sari Mejia Santos.

NJ, "Norma Jean" Pilates offers a unique and individualized fitness experience, based on the Pilates method of body conditioning. Locations include the Hamptons & New York City. <br> NJ Pilates offers Private & Semi Private sessions, located in the comfort of your own home, on the beach, or in your fitness center. Located in Amagansett Square, on Main Street in Amagansett, NY. It was founded in 2000 by Jolie Parcher, who is the caring director and a teacher. Since its inception, thousands have passed through the doors of Mandala, and many have become familiar faces. When you walk into Mandala, you can feel the relaxed, non-judgmental sentiment all around you. If it’s your first time walking through our doors, or if you’ve come to call the studio a second home, you will feel the loving vibe that has been created by all of our wonderful students and teachers. KamaDeva Yoga teachers come from diverse yogic backgrounds, and our class schedule reflects many of the different styles of Yoga that are practiced. Although all styles are based on the same physical poses (asanas), they often vary in their emphasis. All levels of student are welcome in all Open Level Yoga classes, so you can continue to test a variety of styles until you find one that suits you.

Joseph Pilates created original pieces of equipment for his exercise system that he called “Contrology.” His studio in New York City had a workshop where he created his designs. Today, there are many different companies that now manufacture Pilates equipment. <br> The Pilates Movement uses equipment produced by Gratz Industries. Gratz Industries is one of the only manufacturers that produces equipment closest to the original designs. Pilates equipment is different than your typical gym equipment. The equipment has springs, leather straps, wooden and leather handles, and fuzzy foot straps. Through the use of springs, instead of weights, the equipment helps to show you where the muscles are and how they work within the movement. Performing a series of controlled movements that work against the resistance of springs is unlike using your average machine in a gym.

Owned and actively managed by Elle Jardim and Donna Singer, both of whom trained under the tutelage of the legendary master trainer Romana Kryzanowska. Our mission at CFM is to create a warm, inviting atmosphere with a no-nonsense approach to Authentic Pilates and Gyrotonic training.
