Nas áreas ao ar livre se destacam concorridos shows e uma programação especial para as crianças nos finais de semana. Com três andares, a casa chama atenção também por sua arquitetura e estilo - tijolos aparentes combinados harmoniosamente com estruturas metálicas e de vidro.

Instalado em área de 400.000 m2, cercada por florestas e aos pés do Maciço da Pedra Branca, o parque que já é o maior do gênero na América Latina virou clube. O Bosque da Barra ou Parque Arruda Câmara, localizado no quilômetro 6 da Avenida das Américas com 50 hectares ocupados com vegetação típica de praia é refúgio natural de pássaros e animais. Com área equivalente a 50 campos de futebol, constitui uma das áreas verdes mais visitadas da região, propiciando um delicioso passeio.
O parque possui amplos gramados, equipamentos para a prática esportiva como campos de futebol e quadras de vôlei, payground para a criançada, pista em terra batida com extensão de 3.000 metros para caminhada e trilhas na mata para a prática de mountain bike.

Pier 96 offers Walk up Kayaking every weekend and holiday from 9AM until 6PM with the last boat going out at 5:30, and weekday evenings from 5PM-7PM with the last boat going out at 6:30PM in July and August. Introductory classes are held at Pier 96 every Wednesday at 6PM.
The Downtown Boathouse is an all volunteer-run nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free public access to the harbor in New York City through public kayaking programs. Downtown Boathouse's mission is to encourage safe public use of the harbor waters of New York City and thereby provide residents of this space-constrained city with increased recreational opportunities. It supports our operations exclusively through public donations and the efforts of volunteers.

At Build-A-Bear Workshop, customers can choose from a variety of stuffed animals, including bears, dogs, cats, and even licensed characters like Disney, Marvel and Harry Potter. Based on The Suit by Can Themba, Mothobi Mutloatse, and Barney Simon Direction, adaptation, and music by Peter Brook, Marie-Hélène Estienne, and Franck Krawczyk The renowned Peter Brook—whose 1987 production of The Mahabharata inaugurated the BAM Majestic Theater (now the BAM Harvey Theater)—returns with a music-filled adaptation of South African writer Can Themba’s piercing tale of simmering resentment and tragedy, The Suit. A wife caught in the act, her lover fleeing the scene, a suit left behind. It’s the perfect recipe for a husband’s punishing, humiliating decree: go on with business as usual, he says to his spouse, but take your lover’s suit everywhere you go as a ghostly reminder of your betrayal. Using an innovative staging that integrates live musicians directly into the action, Brook makes Themba’s volatile work sing. A hummed “Strange Fruit,” African melodies, and Schubert lieder thicken the tense, poisoned air of this apartheid-era summer in which a shared wound was not allowed to heal.
Dating from its first performance in 1861, BAM has grown into a thriving urban arts center that brings international performing arts and film to Brooklyn. The first BAM facility at 176-194 Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights was originally conceived by the Philharmonic Society of Brooklyn as a home for its concerts. It housed a large theater seating 2,200, a smaller concert hall, dressing and chorus rooms, and a vast "baronial" kitchen. BAM presented both amateur and professional music and theater productions. Performers included Ellen Terry, Edwin Booth, Tomas Salvini, and Fritz Kreisler.

The Brewer family and its staff are dedicated to the preservation and conservation of all animals. The Southwick team’s mission: to provide an extensive zoological collection and educational facility for our visitors. We strive to promote an exciting environment for a positive family experience.
Southwick’s is a privately owned zoo. Therefore, the zoo does not receive state, local, or federal funding of any kind. All admission proceeds go directly towards caring for the animals and upkeep of the zoo. This includes animal housing, appropriate diets, veterinary care, new exhibit design, and all maintenance of zoo facilities.

Com a mudança da Capital Federal para Brasília, em 1960 a cidade do Rio de Janeiro passou à qualidade de Estado da Guanabara e o Palácio Tiradentes passou a ser a sede da Assembléia Legislativa do Estado da Guanabara. Anteriormente entre 1926 a 1960, serviu à Câmara Federal. A Guanabara existiria entre 1960 e 1975, quando se fundiu ao Estado do Rio de Janeiro e o Palácio Tiradentes passou a abrigar a Assembléia Legislativa do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. O painel decorativo do plenário do Palácio Tiradentes foi executado por Eliseu Visconti em 1926 e representa a assinatura da primeira Constituição Republicana de 1891. No grande painel, restaurado em 2001, figuram em tamanho natural os retratos dos sessenta e três constituintes
